Sarah joins ZMark Health with over 30 years of experience in the field of behavioral health with an emphasis on Medicaid funded Behavioral Health Managed Care, policy, and business development. Sarah worked in the provider realm delivering both county based and managed care funded services. From commercial outpatient to inpatient psychiatric services, Sarah enjoyed serving people with behavioral health needs.
From the provider world, Sarah worked with a team to begin a Medicaid Managed Care company called Community Behavioral Healthcare Network of PA (CBHNP), now known as PerformCare PA. Sarah was the first clinical director and went on to become the Director of Strategic Initiatives, focusing on business development and market expansion. She continued with AmeriHealth Caritas to continue business development in PA, LA, and NJ.
Sarah spent the last several years working as the Policy Director of Mental Health for the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association (RCPA), a trade association for service providers in PA. In this role Sarah was active at the local, state and federal level assisting providers in impacting regulatory and legislative impacts on business including rates, funding and workforce.
Sarah is married, has 3 children, one grandchild and another on the way. She lives in Ocean Isle Beach, NC and enjoys the beach, gardening, walking and reading.
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management and Healthcare IT services, with an emphasis on the use of technology to improve processes and increase efficiency. With a background in finance, data analysis, and software development, she helps clients implement and utilize the right technology to support a healthy revenue cycle that aligns with organizational goals.
Before joining ZMark Health, Jennifer worked at WellPower (formerly Mental Health Center of Denver) in the Finance and Information Systems departments. During her tenure there, she helped implement, develop, and maintain the electronic health record systems, managed multiple teams, and successfully led many application development projects, including the transition to telehealth service delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic and the creation of a custom 837 claim generator application.
Jennifer focuses on helping others understand how to use available technology effectively and provides support during the transition from manual to automated processes.
Jennifer lives in Westminster, Colorado with her three children, where they all enjoy spending time camping, hiking, and exploring the Rocky Mountains.
Heather has 20+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management and a varied background in both behavioral and physical health. She has focused on efficiency, training, process creation and process management as well as centralizing revenue cycle tasks for optimal collectability of services.
Before joining ZMark Health, Heather worked for Merakey as their Corporate Director of AR. While in this role, she helped to lead the revenue cycle team through Covid and the various payment methods prescribed by each of their payers. Prior to Merakey, Heather served as Vice President of Revenue Cycle for Drayer Physical Therapy, now a part of Upstream Rehabilitation. Prior to this, Heather held varying roles at NHS Human Services (now Merakey) ranging from supervisory positions to the Director of Business Operations, overseeing $600M in annual revenue.
Throughout her years of experience, she has concentrated on decreasing DSO and increasing overall collections, which contributed to growth of the bottom line to expand services and offerings for those in need. Heather focuses heavily on relationship building and education to make the billing process less intimidating for those involved.
Heather holds a Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University and is passionate about leadership and ongoing education.
She lives in Elizabethtown, PA with her son and daughter and her two golden retrievers.
Stephanie started her career at the front desk at the Mental Health Center of Denver, CO (Wellpower). She has more than years of experience in Behavioral Health. She progressed through the ranks and eventually moved into a position in the billing department as the director. She strived to create workflows and processes to ensure consistency and maximize revenue and clear and concise reporting. She implemented automation for billing processes, from eligibility to posting revenue.
She enjoys cooking, her garden, and exploring the beautiful state of Colorado.
Regan works with the ZMark team to provide clients with high-level consulting and advisory services.
Regan joins the ZMark team with over 26 years of healthcare experience as a medical assistant, billing representative, and Revenue Cycle Management. Regan spent most of her career at Drayer Physical Therapy/Upstream Rehabilitation where she worked to improve revenue cycle practices, including patient intake, billing review, and documentation improvement initiatives.
Regan resides in Hershey, PA, and has a son who is in a post-baccalaureate program at the Philadelphia School of Osteopathic Medicine where he plans to become a DO. She loves sports, especially hockey, baseball, and college football, cooking, photography, and hiking/walking her dog, Leika.
Marcy Guevara is a medical administrative professional with over 20 years of expertise in the field. Marcy has over 10 years of experience working in the Florida Medicaid industry and successfully navigating numerous policies and procedures. She has held multiple leadership positions and has sought to offer her deep experience as a consultant. Marcy enjoys sharing her knowledge of the industry to help train and build teams of skilled professionals. Prior to joining ZMark, Marcy was the Business Director and Revenue Manager for a large pediatric therapy group in Tampa, FL.
She has two young children and enjoys outdoor activities while taking advantage of the Florida weather.
Ashlee has nearly 20 years of progressively advanced digital marketing, project management, interactive user experience, and strategic oversight in a variety of regional, national and global industries including seven years with a $23B Pennsylvania-based health care provider and insurer. The primary focus has been on driving revenue and brand-building within the digital space.
Achieved diversity in experience and connections through strategic professional opportunities in the hospitality and tourism, advertising, healthcare, and franchised food and beverage industries. Most recent role as the corporate Digital Marketing Manager for the fast-growing Duck Donuts franchise provided the opportunity to direct the positioning of all digital marketing channels supporting the expansion of the brand and operations from a fledgling regional franchise business to a successful and rapidly expanding the global brand. Immediately prior to working with Duck Donuts, served as the primary resource for managing the development and maintaining all service line sites on UPMC Pinnacle’s website, as well as supporting the strategy for social media, email marketing, and online reputation management for the health system.
Karen has over 25 years of executive and strategic business experience in the behavioral health field. Karen partnered with community leaders in building specialized services for children and families impacted by autism spectrum disorders. Starting her career as a direct care staff, Karen held progressive leadership positions across two highly regarded, non-profit organizations. She has pioneered innovative solutions to create quality service delivery models within available funding sources across the country. Through her leadership and advocacy, Karen strives to create relevant opportunities for individuals of all ages and all abilities.
Karen received her BCBA coursework at Pennsylvania State University and Master of Arts, Adulting Education and Counseling at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
April works to help create a more profitable revenue cycle by improving medical billing processes and business practices. Prior to joining ZMark Health, April worked in the finance and healthcare industries for the past 20 years serving as a financial operations manager and a healthcare billing and accounting specialist.
April resides in Central Pennsylvania and has two children, a daughter who is a sophomore in college and a son in the United States Marine Corps.
Erika works with the ZMark team to ensure all systems and processes are streamlined to offer top notch, personalized service to each client.
Prior to stepping into her role at ZMark, Erika was the Director of RCM Services for Net Health. During her time there, she helped grow the RCM business to $96M in annual provider revenue. She also developed a procedural playbook that created lasting and successful relationships with clients.
She has worked in the health care industry for the past 20 years, with an emphasis on home health and hospice RCM. Over the past few years her expertise has expanded into other areas of RCM management. Erika has served in management roles for local and national companies over the past 15 years, and enjoys leading others to success through compassion and dedication.
Erika lives in Springville, UT with her husband, son, and daughter. She loves to travel, sports (especially Utah Utes football), and reading all the books she can get her hands on.
